A small core team, and work you can point to
Consultancy has a reputation among engineers, and parts of it are earned: bench time, staffing decided by what’s billable this month, CVs sold as senior while the delivery says otherwise. Staying small is how we avoid becoming that. Joining here means joining the core team: a few senior engineers who front engagements from London and build with established software companies in Novi Sad - client-facing from day one, and never far from the code.
The disciplines we hire for
We don’t keep a rolling list of vacancies. The core team grows one person at a time: we recruit against the disciplines below, and when the right person appears we make room - the common requirement is enough experience to be handed a problem rather than a ticket.
Senior full-stack engineers
You design, build and ship features across the stack - comfortable making architecture calls and just as happy owning the release that puts them live.
Cloud & platform engineers
You treat infrastructure as a product: CI/CD, observability and cost under control, so every team around you can ship safely and often.
Data & AI engineers
You turn messy data into pipelines, models and features that hold up in production - and you know when the boring solution is the right one.
Product designers
You shape flows and interfaces that feel obvious to use, working shoulder to shoulder with engineers rather than throwing mockups over a wall.
Quality engineers
You build the safety net - automated tests, sensible coverage and a nose for the edge cases - that lets the team move fast without breaking trust.
Delivery leads
You keep an engagement honest: clear scope, steady cadence and a client who always knows where things stand. Senior enough to still write code when it helps.
What we look for, and what you get
We believe engineers at their core love to provide value, and that our job is to build the environment where they can. Hiring is part of that environment - so unlike most job ads, both halves of the trade are written down.
What we look for in you
- Several years shipping software people actually depend on
- Ownership from first commit to production, not just the fun middle bit
- Clear writing and calm communication - with teammates and clients alike
- Sound judgement about when to go deep and when to keep it simple
- Fluent English and comfort working directly with international clients
- Willingness to travel to the UK - client workshops and on-site weeks happen in London
- Curiosity that outlasts whichever framework is fashionable this year
What you get from us
- Remote-first, with flexible hours built around real delivery, not clock-watching
- Genuinely senior peers you can learn from on every project
- Real products for global clients - work that ships and gets used
- A voice in architecture and technical direction from day one
- Room to go deep, plus budget to keep your skills sharp
- Direct contact with clients - no account layer in between
Four steps, then an answer
The steps below are the whole process - no unadvertised rounds - and it usually wraps up inside a couple of weeks. We treat candidates’ time as billable, even though it isn’t.
- 1
Send us a note
Email us a short introduction, your CV or profile, and a link or two to work you’re proud of - GitHub, a live product, a write-up. A cover letter is optional; telling us what you’d want to work on is not.
- 2
A first conversation
A relaxed call with one of the engineers you’d actually work with. We’ll talk through your experience and what you’re after, and you can ask us anything about how we work.
- 3
A practical deep-dive
We look at real problems together - walking through past work or a small, paid exercise close to what the job involves. No trick puzzles, no unpaid take-homes that eat your weekend.
- 4
Decision and offer
We move quickly and give you a clear yes or no with honest feedback either way. If it’s a yes, we’ll sort out the details and get you set up to start.
Ready when you are
Don’t see your exact role above? If you’re senior and you love shipping, introduce yourself anyway - we make room for the right people.
